SC-47 Cerussite with Dioptase
Tsumeb, Namibia
ex. Erik Louw Collection
Miniature, 4.5 x 4 x 2 cm

John Schneider Photo

A gorgeous and, I think, unique combination specimen, with starkly contrasting cerussite and dioptase all perched on snow-white calcite! BETTER IN PERSON! Erik Louw was a miner on the dioptase stope who traded extensively and accumulated one of the finest Tsumeb miniatures collections, purchased in entirety by the Sussmans in the late 1990's.

SC-101 Cerussite (pink/smoky)
Tsumeb, Namibia
ex. Willy Israel Collection
Miniature, 4 x 4 x 2.5 cm

A superb miniature of reticulated cerussite of this classic form, with unusual PINK and smoky phantoms internal to the crystal spokes. Unusually symmetrical, and fine!

SC-75 Cerussite ("glassy") (SOLD)
Tsumeb, Namibia
ex. Erik Louw Collection
Small Cabinet, 6 x 3.5 x 2

John Schneider Photo

This is an exceptionally rare specimen from a single pocket that produced what are regarded as the glassiest of Tsumeb cerussites of this reticulated habit. It is entirely pristine and complete all around, which is remarkable for such fragile minerals! It practically glows with soft color, and has the highest lustre you could ever want on a Tsumeb piece, comparable to the best of Kombat Mine material, in fact. Erik Louw was a miner on the dioptase stope who traded extensively and accumulated one of the finest Tsumeb miniatures collections, purchased in entirety by the Sussmans in the late 1990's. NOW IN THE WALLY MANN COLLECTION and trimmed of the extraneous matrix in a gutsy move by Wally!

SC-26 Cerussite (SOLD)
Tsumeb, Namibia
ex. John Innes collection
Small Cabinet, 9.75 x 5 x 2.5 cm

John Schneider Photo

A simply spectacular specimen - the pic pretty much speaks for itself! John Innes was a mine mineralogist at Tsumeb, and this piece went to the Sussmans from him, via the Zweibels.

SC-12 Cerussite (SOLD)
Tsumeb, Namibia
ex. Gene Meieran Collection
Cabinet, 12 x 11 x 4 cm

John Schneider Photo

A simply spectacular specimen - again, the pic pretty much speaks for itself! This is regarded, for its near-pristine condition, size, and the fact that it is also complete on the backside, as one of the very finest examples from one specific pocket of such beasts. I obtained it in the first major cull of Gene's collection several years ago and sold it the same day to the Sussmans, so it has never been on the public market before.

SC-85 Cerussite with Malachite (SOLD)
Tsumeb, Namibia
ex. Erik Louw Collection
Miniature, 4.5 x 4 x 2 cm

John Schneider Photo

This odd specimen has malachite literally intergrown with a smoky cerussite crystal, which is quite unusual! You'll either think it is jumbly, or love it for the uniqueness as I do. Erik Louw was a miner on the dioptase stope who traded extensively and accumulated one of the finest Tsumeb miniatures collections, purchased in entirety by the Sussmans in the late 1990's.
